       1.    Ko Lao Liang



      These twin islands – North Lao Liang and South Lao Liang – majestically stand side by side in the Petra Islands National Park.  They are limestone islands with cliffs towering over a white powdery sandy beach.  Through the crystal clear seawater, visitors can see coral reefs teeming with black-backed anemone fish and schools of other colorful fish.  It is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving.  Tents are provided for those who would like to stay overnight including a restaurant and bathrooms.

      2.   Lay Khao Kop Cave



      This is a cave in a limestone mountain.  There are rivers flowing through this natural wonder boasting magnificent stalactites and stalagmites welcoming visitors with the unrivaled opportunity for boating or strolling along the 4-kilometer route to enjoy these splendid phenomena in many rooms such as Chao Sao Cave, Rak Sai Cave and Kon Than Cave.   Another exciting and impressive thing not to miss is Lod Cave in which you have to lie down on the boat so as to go under the lowest ceiling of the cave. Passing through this cave is like passing under a dragon. The Subdistrict Administrative Organization of Khao Kop provides daily boating services to admire the beauty of the cave from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The service charge is 300 baht per 5 people.

      3.   Ko Sukorn



      Visitors can come to this island all year round.  It is only 3 kilometers off the coast.  Visitors can truly relax in the serene atmosphere while listening to the interesting legends about this island and live the simple local life.  Its serenity, the simple Muslim way of life, and pristine nature attract those who would like to experience a slow life.

      4.   Rafting at Ban Nam Rap



      The community offers this rafting service along Ta Pe Canal so that visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of mangroves down to the mouth of the canal at Yong Lam Beach, swim or relax on the beach.  They can also participate in the seaweed growing project in the nearby area.  Another place worth visiting on the way back is Khao Jom Pa.  Visitors can be amazed by the panoramic view from the top of this mountain.  On the raft, visitors can enjoy palatable fresh seafood such as steamed blue swimming crab, grilled squid, sweet and sour fried fish and sour soup with sea bass along with fruit, homemade sweets and beverages.

      5.   White water rafting at Ban Khao Lak

      This is organized by the Ban Khao Lak community located at the origin of the watercourse.  The rafting course is about 4 kilometers long.  The rapid water level is low and the current is not strong; as a result, this activity is suitable for everyone.  The scenery along the course includes orchards, rubber tree plantations, and palm trees in addition to the appealing greenery.  Small and big boulders emerge along the banks of the canal so sometimes rafters feel like they are traveling through gorges.  The trip takes one and a half hours and the service charge is 200 baht per adult.  The community also provides local dishes such as chicken curry with coconut milk and young banana stalk, stir fried Liang leaves with egg, spicy Kud salad, bamboo shoots cooked in coconut milk and Nam Prik.  The food costs about 150 baht a person.  After the rafting, visitors can visit Khao Lak Waterfall or tour around the community to learn about the local way of life and buy community products such as sweet banana crisps, bamboo or rattan wickerwork and seasonal fruit.
