ดีแทคขยายสัญญาณอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงลุยช่วยพื้นที่โซนสำคัญหนุนรับมือโควิด-19

      วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2564 – ดีแทคลุยเพิ่มสัญญาณอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงช่วยภาครัฐและสาธารณสุขรับมือโควิด-19 พื้นที่ 4 จุดสำคัญจังหวัดสมุทรสาคร เชื่อมต่อหน่วยงานสาธารณสุขต่างๆ ที่เข้าปฏิบัติหน้าที่และใช้อุปกรณ์ในการสื่อสารผ่านสัญญาณอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

      ปัจจุบันพื้นที่จังหวัดสมุทรสาครถูกกำหนดเป็นพื้นที่โซนสีแดงที่ต้องควบคุมและเฝ้าระวังสูงสุดจึงมีการควบคุมการเข้า-ออกพื้นที่เพื่อใช้เป็นสถานกักกันตัวของคนพื้นที่ประมาณ 2,800 ราย เพื่อควบคุมโควิด-19 ไม่ให้กระจายออกสู่พื้นที่อื่น ซึ่งโรงพยาบาลสนามจะมีความสำคัญเป็นอย่างยิ่งในการรองรับผู้ป่วยเหมือนโรงพยาบาลเฉพาะหน้าและรองรับผู้ป่วยทุกกรณีไม่ใช่แค่ผู้ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 เท่านั้น

      นายประเทศ ตันกุรานันท์ รองประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มเทคโนโลยี บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือดีแทค กล่าวว่า “การติดต่อสื่อสารผ่านอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงมีบทบาทสำคัญในช่วงเวลาที่ท้าทาย ทีมดีแทคได้เร่งขยายสัญญาณเพื่อเชื่อมต่อทีมเจ้าหน้าที่แนวหน้าในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ควบคุมโรคระบาดโควิด-19 เราได้นำรถโมบายล์และติดตั้งเพิ่ม Massive MIMO รองรับประสิทธิภาพการใช้งานดีขึ้นกว่าเดิม 3 เท่าในพื้นที่สำคัญ เพื่อการสื่อสารที่ดียิ่งขึ้นกว่าเดิมของบุคคลากรทางการแพทย์และผู้กักกันตัวได้เชื่อมต่อบุคคลที่รักและห่วงใยในช่วงเวลาที่มีความหมายที่สุด”

ดีแทคได้ขยายสัญญาณอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงสู่พื้นที่ 4 แห่ง เบื้องต้นดังนี้

1. ศูนย์ห่วงใยคนสาคร 1 หรือ โรงพยาลาลสนาม สนามกีฬา อบจ. สมุทรสาคร

2. ศูนย์ห่วงใยคนสาคร 2 หรือ โรงพยาบาลสนามลานปฏิบัติธรรม วัดโกรกกราก

3. สำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดสมุทรสาคร (ศูนย์บัญชาการสาธารณสุข)

4. พื้นที่พักคนงานตลาดกลางแพกุ้ง

      ทั้งนี้ ดีแทคยังได้จัดทีมดูแลเน็ตเวิร์กทำงานตลอด 24 ชั่วโมงในการปฏิบัติภารกิจในช่วงสำคัญ พร้อมเกาะติดสถานการณ์ 4 โซนพื้นที่ควบคุมโควิด-19 และเตรียมความพร้อมของสัญญาณ เพื่อความมั่นใจแก่ทีมแพทย์ พยาบาล บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ และเจ้าหน้าที่ทุกท่านที่ปฏิบัติภารกิจ ให้สามารถใช้งานมือถือด้วยประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

dtac boosts network around critical control zoning in fight against COVID-19

      Jan 1, 2021 - dtac is boosting up its network in support of frontline workers to fight against the spread of COVID-19 in four key areas of Sumut Sakhon province. Hospitals are prioritized to provide efficient connectivity services. 

      Presently, Samut Sakhon province was declared a red zone, where the tightest COVID-19 control measures are in place. Around 2,800 people are detained as part of the control measures. Field hospitals is set up at the provincial stadium as a quarantine venue for migrant workers and treat COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms.

      Prathet Tankuranun, chief technology officer of Total Access Communication Plc or dtac, said, “Connectivity plays a critical role in this challenging time and dtac’s engineer team have rushed to aid the frontline in the fight against COVID-19. Mobile cell sites with Massive MIMO technology have been deployed around critical facilities, boosting network capacity up to three times. The move is expected to provide better connectivity for medical personnel and quarantined to allow them to connect with their loved ones in these challenging times.” 

There are four key areas, where mobile cell sites have been installed:

1.Field hospital I at Samui Sakhon’s provincial stadium.

2.Field hospital II at Krok Krak temple.

3.Samut Sakhon’s provincial public health office 

4.Workers camp at Shrimp market

      In addition, the network service team is keeping a close eye on the impact of the outbreak in order to adapt the network accordingly, aimed at providing a reliable and secured network for healthcare workers.
