The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has announced that there will be a joint venture with CKST, a civil contractor that builds tunnels, runways, and underground stations. The first contract relates to the Thailand Cultural Center - Ramkhamhaeng 12. There is a need to divert traffic for Rama 9 Road on the outward bound side of the bridge that crosses over the Saen Saep canal. The distance is about 60 meters to survey the underground public utilities from January 15th to February 2nd, 2018. As a result, the lanes on the bridge will be reduced from 4 to 3 lanes for 24 hours per day.

In order to divert traffic during the aforementioned time period, drivers on Rama 9 Road that are required to drive over the bridge in order to head towards the Wat Rama IX Intersection can still travel normally. However, it might not be convenient to drive due to delays and there may be loud noise pollution during the operation of heavy construction equipment. Therefore, please avoid this route unless there is an absolute necessity to do so. The MRTA sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience.
