*ไทยส่ง C-130 ช่วยอินโดนีเซีย ค้นหาQZ8501*

กรณีเครื่องบินโดยสาร สายการบินแอร์เอเชีย เที่ยวบินที่ QZ 8501 เส้นทางสุราบายา - สิงคโปร์ ขาดการติดต่อกับหอควบคุมการบินจาการ์ตา ขณะกำลังเดินทางอยู่ระหว่างจังหวัดกาลิมันตันและเกาะเบลิตุง ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย และล่าสุดได้พบชิ้นส่วนเครื่องบินดังกล่าวในบริเวณทะเลอินโดนีเซีย นั้น

รัฐบาลไทยพร้อมที่จะให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่อินโดนีเซีย และพร้อมที่จะส่งเครื่องบิน C-130 ภายใต้การปฏิบัติการร่วมระหว่างกองทัพไทยและกองทัพมาเลเซีย เพื่อสนับสนุนภารกิจการค้นหาเครื่องบินดังกล่าว โดยพลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีข้อความสารถึงประธานาธิบดีอินโดนีเซีย เมื่อวันที่ ๓๐ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๗ ดังนี้

Excellency,

                    ​We in Thailand have been following closely the ongoing effort to locate the missing plane of AirAsia flight QZ 8501. I wish to reiterate once again our deepest concern and also our readiness to assist in any way we can.

                     In this regard, I wish to inform Your Excellency that, at this initial stage and once the permission from the Indonesian Government is granted, one C-130 military transport plane from Thailand is to be dispatched tomorrow in a joint operation between Thai and Malaysian Armed Forces, to be based in Kuching, Malaysia.

                Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
