Lunatic Searches for Vehicles With Keys Left in Their Ignition to Steal and Finally Ends Up Taking a Police Bike for a Joyride Until Being Caught

Sometime in the wee hours before dawn, there were reports of a madman climbing to escape into people's homes.  This nutcase is about 40 years old and resembled a crazed maniac.  Shirtless and wearing only a pair of shorts, he feigned stupidity and claimed to know nothing about causing trouble trying to steal vehicles with keys still in their ignition and attempting to escape by climbing to break into people's homes.

Special thanks to 43 Ruamkatanyu Foundation for reporting the aforementioned man as he looked suspicious when he was eying a pickup truck that was parked.  The thief incorrectly assumed that its keys were still inside while the owner went out to go buy noodles, but that was not the case so he got out of the vehicle unsuccessful at making the score.

Afterwards, the bold thief stole the motorcycle of a police officer who was patrolling around the Kluai Nam Thai Intersection.  The officer left the keys in the ignition so that he could be ready to hop on the bike to catch speeders and street racers at any moment's notice.  The joyrider took advantage of this scenario and took off speeding along Soi Pridi Banomyong across Phetchaburi Road reaching Ekkamai Road before being caught by other officers who helped to intercept and arrest him around Soi Ekkamai 10.  They found the tenacious criminal trying to climb into someone's home to flee.

Police Senior Sergeant Major Bricha Jantasaeng of Thong Lo Police Station is the owner of the bike.  He disclosed that while the incident took place, he was performing his duties of trying to catch speeders around Kluai Nam Thai Intersection from around 1:00 am.  Later, there was a volunteer staff member who shouted that there was someone stealing his bike while wearing his helmet too.

After escaping by taking off at high speed, the brash thief went across Sukhumvit Intersection over Khlong Tan into Phetchaburi before being apprehended and arrested around Soi Ekkamai 10-12 because the bike stalled due to components being severely damaged.  The police-spec Honda CBR's siren was broken, but overall, the bike was not completely wrecked though it could not be driven any further due to a broken clutch.  Afterwards, the officers waited for the investigators to wrap up the case so that they could decide whether or not to press any further charges against the hooligan.
