Alternate Routes to Avoid Traffic Due to Construction of MRT Orange Line on Ramkhamhaeng Road

14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2561, 12:35น.

Due to construction for the MRT's Orange Line, personnel must lay down a barrier blocking some of the area on Ramkhamhaeng Road's outbound lanes all along the inward part towards Lam Sali Intersection.  A little portion of the left side's 2 lanes will be closed 24 hours/day between February 10th - 17th, 2018.  As a result, traffic conditions in the aforementioned areas will cause severe delays.

JS100 recommends alternate routes to avoid traffic by using other nearby roads that run parallel to the large alleys that connect, such as:

1. Lad Phrao Road

- Soi Ramkhamhaeng 39 or Soi Wat Thep Lila connects to Pradit Manutham Road and Soi Lad Phrao 94

- Soi Ramkhamhaeng 43/1 connects to Bodindecha School and Soi Lad Phrao 112

- Soi Ramkhamhaeng 53 connects to Soi Lad Phrao 112

- Soi Ramkhamhaeng 65 or Soi Mahadthai (FBT) connects to Soi Lad Phrao 122

- Soi Ramkhamhaeng 81 or Soi Mahadthai 2 connects to Soi Lad Phrao 130

- Lam Sali Intersection connects to Bang Kapi Intersection

2. Rama 9 Road

- Soi Thawon Thawat (Located between Soi Rama 9 39-41) connects with both Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24 and Hua Mak Road then exits Krung Thep Kritha Junction onto Srinakarin Road

- The junction that cuts through Srinakarin Road and the motorway connects to Srinakarin Road

3. Hua Mak Road or the road after Ramkhamhaeng University (Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24)

- The source at Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24 connects Krung Thep Kritha Junction to Srinakarin Road and continues up and down the Srinakarin Expressway

4. Phatthanakan Road

- Soi Thawon Thawat has a tunnel that passes under Rama 9 Road to connect to Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24 or pass by Hua Mak Road

- Phatthanakan Junction connects to Srinakarin Road

The MRT Orange Line project from Thailand Cultural Centre - Min Buri will be one of the country's great infrastructure construction projects that will help improve the quality of life and solve long-distance traffic jams.  Therefore, in order to complete this massive endeavour, commuters must all sacrifice a bit and help by planning their travels accordingly to reduce the impact on traffic as much as possible.  Thank you for your understanding and support.
